Transformers: The Movie (2007)
I was in two-minds as whether or not to include this new version of Transformers, as it isn't an 80s cartoon and this site is 'The Home of 80s Cartoons'.
However, I believe that the new Transformers Movie is in the spirit of the original Transformers 80s cartoon series and I also think it's an amazing movie!
The story is similar to that of the cartoon series; A war is waged on a planet far away between the good Autobots and Evil Decepticons, and this continues on Earth.
Set in the modern day, some of the vehicles have been changed and updated, but you quickly forget this as you are plunged into the kind of non-stop robotic action that you could only dream about as a child.
While not a movie masterpiece, Transformers the Movie is an great action-movie that's suitable for all the family.
